I understand the situation that you were in, luckily for me I’ve seen your story and have learned from it. You made a very mature decision for a sixteen year old, but it started by a really stupid act of boredom. In the beginning I would’ve made sure that you were on birth control and to be safe, had a condom myself. You may have been bored but that shouldn’t have been the result of sexual intercourse. I felt like you had smart decisions after the fact that you got knocked up, but that should’ve never happened.
With the way that you talk and present yourself I can see why you got bored and had sex with your boyfriend. Hey, in that town it looks like that’s the best thing that you could’ve done besides play in the snow during winter. But what’s even better than playing in the snow alone than with your boyfriend and your kid. You also took criticism well, if someone called me the walking whale, or something of that sort, I would’ve gone all berserk on them, especially if I was hormonal and pregnant.
I’m glad you fought the urge and left that abortion clinic, it was the best growing decision for you and for the adoption mom you gave your baby to. You grew by experiencing changes with your body as well with the world around you. You fought through some hard times and witnessed the good. You learned not to make stupid mistakes and found true love in the end. Not only did you go through a roller coaster of emotions and decisions, you also gave your daughter to the best home you could’ve. That women was ready to be a mother as much as you were ready to get rid of that baby and finish your junior year of high school. She will take care of her and provide her with all she needs. She will live a happier life and will live with the thought that instead of being aborted, she was kept alive and was given up for adoption.
Juno well done. You matured a lot throughout the movie and your choices surprised me. With the whole divorce conflict with your adoption parents, the ride of emotions, and the verbal harassment, you were a trooper and survived a war. More than half of the girls in your school wouldn’t have made the choices you did. I hope you have a good rest of your life with your boyfriend and decide to have a family of your own, after college of course.
